Proposed : Guild Guidelines

General

All guild members should be 18 or older.

We are a friendly guild devoted to leveling and our professions. All of us have an alt-o-hol problem so our roster is often not exactly as filled as it seems.

We expect people to be nice to each other. Everyone has a bad day from time to time, but don t make it a habit.

As long as everyone’s ok, a little bit of raunchy fun in guild chat is fine. Just don’t do it in general chats because we don t want our members kicked off.

The Guild Bank?

Everyone should try to give 1 gold for every 10 gold earned. Of course, when leveling a profession that can be hard. Let the guild officers know what you are doing so they can keep tabs and tap you on the shoulder if you are overdoing it and need to layoff. Donations can include loot and crafting ingredients.

Any time your toons need more than your daily alloted gold allowance from the guild bank, get an officer to approve the expense. It is the officer’s responsibility to make the other officers aware. We expect that there are times any toon is going to be leveling and need to get money quick. We just ask that you up your donations if you find yourself deeply in debt to the guild bank.

Officers need to have an authenticator because if their account is compromised, the guild can be ruined overnight. (It is a pain to have to fix a hack with Blizzard even if Blizzard is very good at fixing them.)

Why these “rules / guidelines”? Because we are a small guild right now and need to build our bank and get more tabs!

PinataRanks?

Our ranks are:

• PinataPoobah
  These are our Guild Leaders / Senior Officers and have access to EVERYTHING
• PinataSupreme
  Guild Officers have access to 100 gold a day and are the ones to be petitioned with requests for stuff in the bank by PinataPup’s and small gold requests by PinataRiders.
• PinataPride
  These are our Junior officers who have a somewhat limited access to gold from the bank, but will have access to all tabs and be able to organize guild events.
• PinataRider-
  Our guild members just have two responsibilities, help the guild survive by adding to the bank in whatever ways possible, and contributing to the guild’s fun. PinataRiders get access to guild loot and 3 gold a day for withdrawal / repairs. (I’m hoping we can grow this as our guild bank grows!)
• PinataPup
  Initiates aren’t full members, but they do get 1 gold a day for repairs / withdrawal. Initiates can view what’s in the bank and make a request from anyone from
• PinataPeon -
  You are on probation if you find yourself with this rank and need to shape up. You can see everything, but can’t participate. This may only act as a time-out for some things, but may be a precursor to being kicked out. I’m hoping to never, ever have to use this rank.

Obligations?

Be social. Real life comes first, of course, but if we see you have disappeared for a year with no word as to why, we will probably cull you from the guild. (If we know why, we won t.)

We are a casual guild, so you aren’t required to be in raids or battlegroups or anything like that. You are, however, asked to contribute in some way even if that is just being there to mentor lower level members or keep folks company online.
