Paul and I would like to thank ConFusion for allowing us to bring Pinata Riders to the stage in our own unique way on Saturday January 19th.
Our skit-stume effort won two awards, including a people’s choice accolade and a workmanship award that is a beacon for anyone who don’t know how to sew. Details will replace this late-news post, so stay tuned.
We have video of the entire masquerade, so by all means drop in a little later when it’s ready.
Also, I’m happy to confirm that this performance has added steam to their claim that Freon is worthy of a Guest of Honor slot at their next convention in 2009. A Pinata Goh? It simply cannot be! There are plans to make I tell you.

FYI The skit-stume ‘The Main Event’ featured three very Pinata-like qualities that I’m particularly proud of:
1) $20 budget for BOTH costumes excluding the cost of two sets of kneepads.
2) A full presentation with script, MC interaction and music track
3) Costumes constructed WITHOUT SEWING, entirely onsite and most importantly well within 24 hours.
Yay us. This is a benchmark achievement.
